Lokeezi is published as a digital magazine. Each issue is available to read online on this site, and you can browse individual features, photo essays, and city guides without a subscription. The latest issue is always accessible from the homepage, and older stories remain in the archive.

How do I read the latest issue?

We accept pitches from writers, photographers, and illustrators who work in urban culture, design, and lifestyle journalism. Send a short outline, a few examples of your work, and the city you want to cover. We reply to every pitch, usually within two weeks, and we pay for commissioned features.

Can I pitch a story to the editorial team?

Yes. The newsletter goes out once a month and includes a roundup of new features, behind-the-scenes notes from our editors, and recommendations for studios, cafés, and exhibitions we have visited. You can subscribe at the bottom of any page, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Is the newsletter free to subscribe to?

We cover Indian metros first, with a focus on Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Jaipur. That said, we regularly publish stories from smaller cities and towns when the subject is strong enough. If you know a neighborhood or a craft community that deserves attention, that is exactly the kind of story we want to hear about.

Which cities do you cover?

We do not accept guest posts or paid placements. The magazine is independent, and every story is assigned by the editorial team. If you represent a studio, a café, or a design practice, the best way to get featured is to invite us for a visit or share your work through our contact page.

You can reach us at info@lokeezi.com for editorial questions, corrections, or partnership ideas. For anything related to your subscription or a technical issue with the site, the same address works. We try to respond within three working days.

How we handle corrections, credits, and editorial independence

Corrections and updates

If a story contains a factual error, we publish a correction notice at the top of the article and update the text within five working days.

Photography and artwork credits

Every photo essay and portrait credits the photographer and the subject. If you spot a missing credit, email us and we will fix it within a week.
