Yes. We accept pitches from writers, photographers and illustrators who work in urban culture, design or lifestyle journalism. Send a short outline, a few samples and a note about why the story fits Lokeezi to info@lokeezi.com. We reply within two weeks, though during festival seasons it can take a little longer.
All editorial features, photo essays and city guides are free on the website. We keep the archive open because we believe local stories should be accessible. A small number of long-form pieces are marked as members-only, but the majority of each issue is available to everyone.
We focus on Indian metros and the creative communities within them, but we also follow stories wherever they lead. A neighborhood usually gets covered because someone local pointed us to a studio, a café or a street that deserves attention. Practical recommendations come from visits, not press releases.
We work with a small number of independent studios, galleries and cafés on paid placements, but these are always labeled clearly. Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial partnerships, and we do not run native ads disguised as stories. If you represent a brand, write to us and we can share the media kit.

We cover independent studios, neighborhood cafés, street style, local craftsmanship, and the people behind them. A story qualifies when it reflects how a city actually lives, not just what is promoted. We prioritize voices and places that mainstream media tends to skip.
Guides are refreshed when we hear about a meaningful change, such as a studio relocating, a café closing, or a new collective opening. Between updates, we add reader notes and editor observations to keep the practical details as current as possible.
We look for people with a clear point of view and a visible connection to their local context. That could be a ceramicist working with traditional glazes, a tailor reworking heirloom textiles, or a graphic designer running a small studio. We do not feature work we have not seen in person or verified through a trusted source.
Yes. Write to us at info@lokeezi.com with the name, location, and a short note on why the story matters. We read every suggestion, though we can only respond to those we decide to pursue. Please include a contact detail so we can follow up.
Each issue brings one long-form story, a short list of practical recommendations, and a note from the editorial team. We do not send daily updates or promotional noise. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link at the bottom of every email.
If a fact changes or we receive a credible correction, we update the original piece and add a short editor's note at the end. We do not silently rewrite history. Readers can flag issues by emailing info@lokeezi.com, and we aim to respond within five working days.
